Faithville History

Let's time-warp back to the year 1995 where it all began...

Early 1995
Pastor Tom Collins and his team at Windsor Christian Fellowship (WCF) put on live shows for their Sunday School ministry about a town called ‘Faithville’.
Mid 1995
Pastor and TV personality David Mainse meets Pastor Tom, God plants the vision
for Faithville as a kids’ TV program.
1996
Production of “Faithville” the TV show begins as a ministry of WCF.
1997
🚀 MILESTONE
Faithville premiers on regional Canadian and US TV stations.
2000
WCF blesses and sends out this budding TV ministry. Plans for a new production
begin thoughout this year.
2001
Faithville incorporated as an Independent ministry. A new studio is formed and the first camera purchased.
2002
🚀 MILESTONE
Launch of a new show: “Miss Charity’s Diner.” Faithville now airing on major Christian networks!
2007
Thanks to growth and increased reach, Faithville registers as a US charity.
2014
Faithville launches another new series, "Seasons," highlighting the ups and downs of a 'skip generation' family.
2019
New show premier: “Gospel Time Square." Faithville launches their YouTube channel. Pastor Doug joins the team.
2020
🚀 MILESTONE
Pastor Doug takes over from Pastor & Founder Tom Collins. A new era for Faithville begins with a focus on digital distribution and discipleship.
2021
Faithville pivots due to COVID-19 and quickly launches "Lessons from the Bible" direct to audiences.
2024
🚀 MILESTONE
Dusty's Neighbourhood premiers! The show is met with great enthusiasm from viewers and parents alike!
2026
NRB awards Faithville 'Outstanding Achievement in Online Content' in the children's category.

As we reflect on our journey, we're reminded that while Faithville has evolved over the years, our mission remains unchanged: to spread the message of God's love and provide faith-filled content that inspires, educates, and uplifts families worldwide.
