How Do We Disciple Young People?

Faithville's effectiveness stems from its ability to meet the needs of today's children. The world is becoming increasingly inundated by computers and multi-media, and with so many stimulating alternatives, children can become bored with traditional teaching methods that fail to appeal to their desire for sight, sound and action.

Faithville addresses this need by providing a way to bring the teaching of the Word of God to life. Our television program and video series portray the principles of God's Word as they are discovered and lived out by the citizens of "Faithville" - in unpredictable and hilarious ways! Our curriculum, too, is packed with visual aids, including object lessons, overheads and scripts for skits corresponding to each lesson.

As an added plus, our Sunday School curriculum and video series are designed to work together! Each episode of the devotional series corresponds to a curriculum lesson, creating a great one-two punch of fun-filled entertainment and learning for the whole family. The Faithville Citizens Club

What is the Faithville Citizens Club?

The Faithville Citizens Club is a way for us to interact with children who enjoy the ministry of Faithville and to assist parents in instilling Godly values in their children at home. The Faithville Citizens Club brings godly teaching and fun right to your mailbox. Members of the Citizens Club receive a variety of materials in the mail as well as special "rights" as an Honorary Citizens of Faithville.

In the newsletter the children receive, it will...

show them what other citizens around the world do for hobbies, customs and traditions.
children send in their colouring and activity sheets for recognition and contests from time to time.
children can send in prayer requests and praise reports.
they may also send Miss Charity their favourite recipes for print.
they get their birthdate published with greetings from the whole Faithville gang!
they can send in poems or stories.

The newsletter not only teaches, but exhibits the members' talents as well. This club is used to build relationships with our viewers of the T.V. program and encourages them in their walk with Jesus.
